  This is so laughably stupid I don't know where to begin. JWs have such a strong need to be the center of the universe, of all prophecy etc. that they have to write fiction like this about literally being the "center of . . . attention".

  Then there's this curious tidbit about, not obedience to the GB, to their helpers:

  some point, all anointed ones who are
  still on earth will be gathered to heav-
  en to share in the war of Armageddon.
  (Matt. 24:31; Rev. 2:26, 27) This means
  that the Governing Body will no longer
  be with us on earth. However, the great
  crowd will remain organized. Capable
  brothers from among the other sheep
  will take the lead. We will need to show
  our loyalty by supporting these brothers
  and by following their God-given direc-
  tion. Our survival will depend on it!

  The cherry on top is a profoundly idiotic picture of the cry of peace and security. And it's basically a TV with the words Peace and Security on it. How simple is that! All the worldlings in the coffee shop are fooled, but not the JWs on break in the middle:

  just before the last memorial, i finally had a witness call with an invite ( i say finally because i haven’t seen anyone in the d 2 d preaching work for going on 5 years!)..

  i wasn’t particularly prepared ( it being early and me still in my nightie!

  ) but i managed to collect myself and said i didn’t think i wanted to go since i discovered the scandal around the un.....and i outlined the facts.. jw: oh no i don’t think so, where on earth did you read that?.

  something uneblievable just happened.. i am pomo for a while not too long though.

  while we were away (i and my best friend for the weekend), i received several texts from my 2 friends, from my ex-cong ,who are pimi(but starting to have doubts) who have been asking me questions about the jdubs.the texts seemed quite urgent n serious, so got the lowdown .at the weekend meeting , 3 families walked out!.

  I reeeeealy hope you're joking about voting for trivial reasons. Sadly all too many people choose their vote for the wrong reasons, (ie she's a woman, he's black etc.)
